Technetium SHORTAGE!!! Big Impact
2009 Two engineers familiar with
the Chalk River reactor in Ontario, Canada, said the heavy water leak recently discovered at the facility might take at least

half of the world's medical isotopes are produced, earlier said repair works could take "more than a month," and
medical officials are using this timeline to plan for a possible isotope shortage. The Edmonton Journal (Canada)/Canwest News Service For more information, contact your local pharmacy.
